Following the removal of the State of Alarm status of the Costa Blanca, Captain Morgans Bar in San Miguel Salinas decided to hold a 'Coming Out Party' and raise much needed funds for Samaritans in Spain. And boy, did they turn out.. but within the current restrictions of course! The afternoon was hosted by our newly appointed Patron, Stevie Spit BEM and entertainment was provided by some of the best voices on the Costa Blanca - all at no charge.
Following a raffle, name the teddy and the collection of loose change, they had managed to raise around 450€ but it didn't stop there. Thank to the incredible generosity of one lady who purchased a book donated by one of the younger visitors, the final total was a whopping 520.82€.
