Introducing President of Samaritans in Spain, Donna Williams like you have never seen her before! Donna, along with a group of brave and inspiring women posed ‘Calendar Girls’ style for a 2022 calendar in order to raise much needed funds for Samaritans in Spain, Help at Home and Helping Hands.
Glitz & Glamour – Calendar Girls of Spain 2022 is the brainchild of Hayley Davies and Donna got involved thanks to her membership of Hayley’s ladies group. Having seen a post on Facebook asking for ladies to participate, Donna cheekily put herself forward on the understanding that Samaritans in Spain would be one of the charities to benefit. “I actually thought that the charities would have probably already been selected so was surprised when Hayley agreed… and a little nervous about what I had let myself in for!” she said.
Whilst she didn’t know any of the other ladies involved, Donna felt very at ease and part of a community from the very first meeting. This was helped by having the opportunity to meet the photographer, Kirsty Wallwork before any photos were taken. An intensive period of photoshoots followed in all sorts of fun locations and Donna enthuses that the boat has to be her favourite. In speaking about the experience, Donna said “I am so glad that I was able to be part of what was both empowering and most of all fun! I have met a wonderful group of ladies and built some very special friendships”.

All proceeds are being split equally between the three charities.
