2023 has been a very busy year for us all at Samaritans in Spain, thanks to a growing community of dedicated volunteers who train as listeners, serve in our Shop and support our fundraising and awareness efforts. There is much more to be done but we are very proud to have been recognised by the Prestige of Awards of Spain. We have been named Wellness Support NPO of the Year 2023/24.
In coming to this decision, the judging panel reviewed our website, social media presence as well as our branding, vision and goals for the future. They were looking for service excellence and quality, innovative practices, ethical or sustainable methods of working, as well as consistency in performance. We were selected based on our demonstrable strengths in these areas.
And what better way to make the announcement, than with an invitation from our Patron, Stevie Spit BEM, to attend a White Party and be part of a special episode of Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun!
